CQ Lead Warehouse and Packaging (Contract)

Our Client is a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to developing innovative medicines that improve patient outcomes and address critical healthcare needs.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the defined Commissioning and Qualification (CQ) Leadership scope of allocated area or scope, ensuring targets related to schedule, safety and compliance are achieved by their reporting teams.

1. Lead Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) for packaging equipment, including automatic/semi-automatic packaging and visual inspection systems, labelling/cartoning lines and serialization systems.
2. Execute C&Q activities for warehouse storage, freezers, cold rooms and freeze-thaw systems in line with approved plans and procedures.
3. Plan and coordinate C&Q activities, schedules and milestones across Engineering, Operations, HSE, EPC teams, vendors and contractors.
4. Lead C&Q preparation and execution, including vendor coordination, start-up, construction walk-downs and Mechanical Completion activities.
5. Review and approve C&Q documentation and test scripts, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with requirements.
6. Track and resolve discrepancies, changes and remediation actions, while monitoring C&Q progress and reporting project status to stakeholders.
7. Ensure C&Q execution meets safety, quality, schedule and regulatory standards, with no significant findings during external inspections.

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related discipline)
2. Extensive experience in areas/systems under future responsibility. Minimum of 10 years is preferable
3. A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
4. Familiar with methodologies related Risk Based Validation
5. Ability to work within strict deadlines
6. Field CQV execution experience.
7. Considerable experience with cGMP
8. For Drug Linker: Knowledge of ATEX, process safety, and pharmaceutical engineering standards
